Manage your choices
Essential cookies cannot be switched off because the site will not function correctly without them. Everything else is off until you choose to enable it. Use the switches below and press save; you can return and change your mind at any time.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. Related technologies, including local storage, do a similar job by keeping a small amount of information on your own device. They allow a site to remember something between page views — that you have already answered a cookie prompt, for example, so that you are not asked again on every page.
Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another company through that site are third-party cookies, and those are the ones typically used for cross-site advertising. Amaurim uses first-party storage only.
Categories we use
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| amaurim_cookie_consent | Strictly necessary | Records the cookie choices you made on this page so we do not ask again | Until you clear it |
| amaurim_session | Strictly necessary | Maintains a secure session while you use the contact form or checkout | Session only |
| amaurim_metrics | Analytics | Aggregated page and product interest counts, enabled only with your consent | 13 months |
| amaurim_prefs | Personalisation | Remembers measurement units and recently viewed products | 6 months |
We do not place any storage in the analytics or personalisation categories unless the corresponding switch above is enabled. If you choose “Essential only”, the only entry kept is the record of that choice itself.
Browser-level controls
Independently of the switches on this page, your browser gives you control over cookies and site storage. You can usually block or delete them through the privacy or site-settings section of your browser preferences, and most browsers offer a private or incognito mode that discards storage when the window closes.
Blocking all cookies affects most modern websites, and on this site it means your preference choices cannot be remembered between visits. Instructions for each browser are published in that browser's own help documentation, which we recommend over any summary we could keep current here.
We also honour the Global Privacy Control signal where your browser or extension sends one, treating it as a request to keep optional categories switched off.
